Setting the System ID on all RC4Magic 3-button devices is the same procedure.

This applies to 2.4GHz RC4Magic Series 2 and Series 3 systems (purple label) and 900MHz RC4Magic-900 (blue label) systems.

At power up, a pattern of LED blinks indicates the currently selected System ID :

ID0 = Yellow LED blinks several times by itself (RF Data)

ID1 = Green LED blinks several times by itself (COP)

ID2 = Yellow AND Green LEDs blink together (RF Data & COP)*

ID3 (AKA “Public”) = Yellow & Green LEDS TOGGLE BACK & FORTH (RF Data & COP)

* NOTE: 3-button devices do not provide access to ID2 using the buttons. ID2 can be selected using RC4 Commander software and a wireless Dongle device

All gear is shipped on factory default ID0. To get back to this state follow these steps:

A. Start with power removed. The device must be off.

B. Using a small tool like a bent paper clip, press and hold the ID0 button.

C. Apply power to the unit while holding the button still.

D. The yellow LED will blink several times by itself.

E. This confirms ID0. Release the button hold.

NOTE: Each ID supports a separate wireless DMX universe. A separate DMXio transmitter is required for each separate wireless DMX universe.
